**** You can request for the removal of the global botflag if the bot is misbehaving badly (any user can do this). Or simply block the user account of the bot from doing any editing (any local moderator can do it). The removal of the local botflag will not help. On meta the stewards are very quickly to help the small wiki's. Aspecially if a bot is misbehaving, they like to know and will check if it is a global problem or only a local problem.
