Give the bit I often see this bot at other wikipedias (because I added some Babel templates as Gebruker:Erik Warmelink, and added interwikis), the bot edits quite a lot. As far as I can tell, the bot is reliable, maybe a bit less reliable than a fully awake and focussed Erik Warmelink, but certainly a lot more reliable than I am if I am tired or if I don't focus fully on wikipedia (please don't mention the edits when I am tired and unfocussed). -- 23:25, 1 sep 2011 (CEST)Reageren[reageer]
Thx, I'll run some more test until I can apply for flag on Meta. --Hedwig in Washington (overleg) 02:28, 16 sep 2011 (CEST)Reageren[reageer]

Ripchip BotBewarken

Thanks in advance. Béria Lima msg 21:07, 16 mrt 2011 (CET)Reageren[reageer]

It looks OK, but the bot started under a bad constellation: I saw a lot of (correctly) deleted interwikis to; to evaluate the bot, it should run a while under normal circumstances. If I haven't whined, I agree to giving it the bot-bit after 18 March. --Erik Warmelink 00:42, 17 mrt 2011 (CET)Reageren[reageer]
It has been 18 March (for 2 weeks even), I support giving User:Ripchip Bot the bot bit. I don't remember errors and I still see Ripchip Bot removing obsolete links.
I second that. Seems to behave OK. Droadnaegel 21:13, 3 apr 2011 (CEST)Reageren[reageer]

Ik zol geerne nog wat meer edits zonder botvlagge van dissen zeen, hee lik n probleem met de sorteervolgorde te hebben:
I'd like to see more edits of this bot before granting the bot flag. It looks like there is a problem with the sorting order (see link above). Droadnaegel 22:45, 27 nov 2010 (CET)Reageren[reageer]
Dat-s neet t sortieren, zien bot haar neet deur dat frr:… ne interwiki is. Wat meer edits veurdat he t botbitje krig, lik weal good.
That's probably not a sorting error, but frr:… wasn't recognized as an interwiki. Not a big problem, but a few edits which are watched, might be a good idea. --Erik Warmelink 22:59, 27 nov 2010 (CET)Reageren[reageer]

Bot policyBewarken

Hello. To facilitate steward granting of bot access, I suggest implementing the standard bot policy on this wiki. In particular, this policy allows stewards to automatically flag known interlanguage linking bots (if this page says that is acceptable), which form the vast majority of such requests. The policy also enables global bots on this wiki (if this page says that is acceptable), which are trusted bots that will be given bot access on every wiki that allows global bots.

This policy makes bot access requesting much easier for local users, operators, and stewards. To implement it we only need to create a redirect to this page from Project:Bot policy, and add a line at the top noting that it is used here. Please read the text at m:Bot policy before commenting. If you object, please say so; I hope to implement in one week if there is no objection, since it is particularly written to streamline bot requests on wikis with little or no community interested in bot access requests. Het leven wordt een heel stuk makkelijker als deze richtlijn aangenomen wordt. Dus ik adviseer de gemeentschap om deze richtlijn aan te nemen. I have no objections and support this request. Carsrac 12:42, 2 mei 2009 (CEST)Reageren[reageer]
    • Seems to be a good idea, provided there is a way for the local moderators to deny a steward approved bot, if it misbehaves. If there is, I support the request. Droadnaegel 23:49, 3 mei 2009 (CEST)Reageren[reageer]
      • You can still revoke a bot flag as there are active bureaucrats here. --Erwin 10:54, 4 mei 2009 (CEST)Reageren[reageer]
        • You can request for the removal of the global botflag if the bot is misbehaving badly (any user can do this). Or simply block the user account of the bot from doing any editing (any local moderator can do it). The removal of the local botflag will not help. On meta the stewards are very quickly to help the small wiki's. Aspecially if a bot is misbehaving, they like to know and will check if it is a global problem or only a local problem. There are several ways to deny any steward approved bots. Carsrac 20:50, 7 mei 2009 (CEST)Reageren[reageer]

    • Support. I guess it would especially help to allow global bots here. --Erwin 10:54, 4 mei 2009 (CEST)Reageren[reageer]
      • The policy will be actived very soon now. De richtlijn zal zeer binnen kort actief worden. Als iemand de engelse tekst kan vertalen en misschien de twee engelse teksten kan samen voegen, dan ziet het weer overzichtelijk er uit. Carsrac 13:46, 10 mei 2009 (CEST)Reageren[reageer]
